It all began with a need. In 2017 Niels Thimmer was struggling with finding remote employees for his company Opinodo. After a lot of work and mistakes, the first developers were hired.
Talking with his friend Marc Lucas in the spring of 2017, both Marc and Niels saw there was a general problem. Good global talent was indeed looking for opportunities. So were a lot of innovative growth companies.
Teamcubate was the name for the collective created to make remote hiring of developers streamlined. Soon other founders started contacting Marc and Niels to be a part of Teamcubate.
Fast forward: +100 full-time developers for +30 companies has been hired. Always with the need for startups and scaleups close to heart. That means a focus on transparency, empowering both candidates and companies. Rather than behaving protectively like for instance outsourcing companies often do.
